GroundFloorHR grew out of a passion for human resources, that almost died.  After a career started at a global company, then transported to smaller businesses and back up to large corporations, the joy of the profession was nearly gone.  Careful reflection led to a spark – we loved the smaller businesses – we made the largest and most enjoyable differences with them!

Thus, GroundFloorHR was born.  It is designed to help those at that ground floor, who want to execute their plan and continue pursuing their dream.  Everything human resource related can seem so complicated and overwhelming, and laws/regulations change often.  GroundFloorHR assists, establishes, creates, and supports your talent and human resources needs.

The team at GroundFloorHR enjoys what they do and love a good challenge.  They understand business and want to understand yours.  They value relationships and are fully vested IN your business.

The owner of GroundFloorHR, Tara Cox, has over 20 years of human resources experience.  She began working full-time in HR in college and has had career experiences in everything from global corporations to small business.  Her industry experience includes construction, construction equipment, banking, crop insurance/insurance, and telecom/call centers.  As a member of senior leadership and the right hand to several executive groups, she has proven herself effective in her roles, profession, and as a key partner to the business.
